Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply in Huntsville, TX is seeking a warehouse/delivery associate to transport materials on designated routes, unload at customer locations, and ensure orders match Ship Tickets. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violation; or no more than 1 type B violation in past 3 years.
• A minimum of 1 year of driving experience within the past 36 months, operating a commercial motor vehicle with GVWR of 10,001 lbs or more preferred.
• Read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason, and analyze.
• Function independently, completing various tasks accurately with close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials over designated routes and ensure safe operation of vehicles.
• Ensure loaded materials match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and are secured for transport.
• Unload materials for customers at each delivery location and verify accuracy.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and maintenance.
• Maintain the warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for delivery.
• Operate in a safety-sensitive environment and comply with pre-employment drug testing requirements.
