Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a delivery driver to support warehouse operations by transporting materials to customer locations in a safe and courteous manner. You will verify shipments against Ship Tickets, secure loads, perform daily vehicle inspections, and assist with receiving, storing, and preparing products for delivery while keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

This safety-sensitive role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, ability to work in varying weather

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no Type A violations; or no more than 1 Type B violation in past 3 years.
Minimum 1 year of driving experience within past 36 months operating a CMV GVWR 10,001 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

Transport materials over designated routes and ensure safe vehicle operation.
Provide excellent customer service with prompt and courteous deliveries.
Verify shipments against Ship Ticket/Delivery Manifest and secure loads for transport.
Unload materials at delivery locations and confirm accuracy per the Ship Ticket.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle safety and maintenance.
