Overview

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse team member drives over established routes to deliver products and/or pick up returned merchandise from customers. Additionally, this position handles all shipping and receiving functions within the Branch.

Responsibilities

1. Use vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise safely and courteously. Create and maintain records as needed.
2. Dispatch, confirm customer orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
3. Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, by part and quantity.
4. Ensure customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for.
5. Collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documents.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Familiarity with automotive parts is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to operate safely and maintain a clean work environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and listen. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may need to lift up to 100 pounds. Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise levels.

Salary Range

USD $14.40 - USD $15.50 /Hr.
