Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Marrero, Louisiana.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record, a personal vehicle, and be able to travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the time
• Strong technical aptitude including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS system
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors

Additional Requirements

• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adherence to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handling warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core hours
• Additional duties as assigned
