Job summary

Shearer Supply, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse/Delivery Driver in Texas to handle daily HVAC product deliveries from branch locations to customers, vendors, and other Sales Center locations.

The role also involves maintaining and operating the warehouse during downtime. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stocking the warehouse, and ensuring timely, courteous service while complying with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able and willing to drive on interstate highways for deliveries.
• Must be able to pass all Pre-Employment Screens.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to load/unload truck at time of delivery
• Ability to sit for 20+ minutes at a time
• Ability to push, pull at least 20+ pounds
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
