Job summary

Monti, Inc. in Greenwood, SC seeks a logistics/Outside Services Associate to manage third-party providers and transport materials to and from vendors.

You will organize and stage parts, prepare orders, load trucks, and deliver to vendors, including internal transport within the Monti facility. The role includes stepping in for the Outside Services Supervisor when needed, coordinating pickups/drop-offs, communicating with vendors, and maintaining 6S standards across workstations while meeting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification.
• DOT certification for single axle box truck preferred

• Prepare orders, load trucks, and deliver parts to and from the vendor, including transporting parts within the Monti facility as needed.
• Runs the department when Outside Services Supervisor is out including managing material pickup and drop-off; communicating with vendors; checking in returned parts; cutting a purchase order.
• Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.


• Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10 lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day.


• Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.


• Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.


• Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.


• Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
