Job summary

Monti, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Outside Services Associate to help manage 3rd party services and transport materials to and from service providers. You will organize parts for shipment to vendors and assist with loading and unloading trucks within the Monti facility.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification and DOT credentials are preferred, with standard 6S practices maintained daily.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and stages parts in Outside Services that are ready to ship out to a vendor.
• Prepare orders, load trucks, and deliver parts to and from the vendor, including transporting parts within the Monti facility as needed.
• Runs the department when Outside Services Supervisor is out including managing material pickup and drop-off; communicating with vendors; checking in returned parts; cutting a purchase order.
• Maintains 6S standards in all work stations.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Organizes and stages parts in Outside Services that are ready to ship out to a vendor.
• Prepare orders, load trucks, and deliver parts to and from the vendor, including transporting parts within the Monti facility as needed.
• Runs the department when Outside Services Supervisor is out including managing material pickup and drop-off; communicating with vendors; checking in returned parts; cutting a purchase order.
• Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Education And Experience

Physical Requirements

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.
• Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10 lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day.
• Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
• Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
• Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
