Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Richmond, VA is seeking a Driver to support our customer service operations. You will operate company vehicles to collect and deliver materials while following federal and state transportation laws and company policies.

The role requires punctuality, safe driving, ability to read maps, and strong accuracy in handling orders. Applicants must meet background checks and drug screening requirements, and be able to work overtime including holidays.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
MVR and background checks required.
Must pass random drug screens.
Able to carry a cell phone for constant communication with Records Center.
Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
Overtime and holidays availability.
Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
CDL, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for service needs.
Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position.
Meet department productivity and quality standards.
Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to direction.
Work with customers to fulfill customer service requests.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or DOO.
In inclement weather, report two hours early to address delays and prep tire chains if necessary.
