Vertical Mechanical Group in Sterling, VA is hiring a Delivery Driver to safely transport HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials across the DMV. Typical hours are 6:00 AM–3:00 PM with start times varying by need.

The role requires a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a willingness to obtain DOT certs. CDL is preferred but not required, and travel across the DMV area is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• DOT medical certification or willingness to obtain one.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to travel throughout the DMV and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including 26-foot box trucks.
• Transport HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials to project sites.
• Follow routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely service.
• Communicate with dispatch, field teams, and office personnel.
• Maintain delivery records and vehicle logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
