YOUR DAY

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the receipt of both stock and non-stock items, ensuring that specifications, quantity, and quality meet company standards. You will maintain a clean and organized warehouse to promote a safe and sanitary work environment. Each day, you will deliver various materials primarily to our customers, following both scheduled and unscheduled routes. Operating vehicles such as trucks and vans, you will transport orders to designated locations, load and unload delivery trucks as necessary, and perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles to ensure safe operation. Moreover, you will maintain accurate delivery logs and participate in physical inventories to verify stock levels. Your interactions with customers will be crucial, as you strive to provide professional assistance and build lasting relationships.

YOUR HOURS

The Delivery Driver position typically operates on a schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Some overtime may be required, and you will report directly to the Branch Manager to ensure efficient daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A DELIVERY DRIVER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of related experience in material handling
• Knowledge of safe handling of durable goods, including hazardous materials
• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in basic math
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately
