Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver in Sterling, VA to safely transport HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials to project sites across the DMV and surrounding areas. The role requires operating a 26-foot box truck, maintaining safety, and complying with DOT requirements.

Typical hours are 6:00 AM–3:00 PM with startup times varying by need. Candidates should be safety-focused, reliable, organized, and capable of traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of delivery or driving experience.
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• DOT medical certification or willingness to obtain one.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to travel throughout the DMV and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 26-foot box trucks and deliver HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials.
• Follow routes and schedules to ensure timely service.
• Communicate with dispatch, field teams, and office staff.
• Maintain delivery, mileage, and vehicle records.
• Load/unload materials and secure cargo; perform pre/post trip inspections.
