Delivery Driver
Responsibilities
- Pay starts at $20/hr (up to $22/hr, based on CDL status).
- Weekly pay.
- The schedule is four weekdays per week, 10 hour days, 6 am - 4 pm.
- Service 150-180 local residential accounts per shift (combining doorstep household and walk-in office locations); deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers on occasion.
- Collect 4‑gallon bins containing food waste, leaving a clean, empty bin behind for each collected.
- Leave customer’s location clean and free of debris.
- At the end of your route, return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload your van.
- Other duties include pre- and post‑trip safety/vehicle checks, weighing bins, recording bin weights, taking service notes, and maintaining a clean vehicle.
Requirements
- Comfortable maneuvering large vehicles, clean driving records, and ability to pass a background check.
- Operate vehicles in accordance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and local, state, and federal laws; demonstrate commitment to safety.
- Desire a physically active working environment, and willingness to work outside in all elements.
- Demonstrate commitment to customer service.
