We help thousands of homes, businesses, and municipalities in North Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio divert and compost over a million pounds of organic waste each month.

Shift starts between 3 (preferred) and 5 am; five or more days per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays as needed. Guaranteed 50 hours per week (40 regular + 10 OT).

Roll‑off truck fleet: 2027 Kenworth T880s, fully maintained and fully featured with backup vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport organic materials, compost, waste, and related materials between customer locations and disposal or processing sites.
• Deliver, swap, and retrieve roll‑off containers and compactors (10–40 yard dumpsters) at client sites.
• Safely place containers, ensure sites are left clean and accessible, and communicate any issues or constraints.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip safety and vehicle inspections.
• Secure loads, complete service documentation, and maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Return to CompostNow yard or designated facility to offload materials and complete end‑of‑day responsibilities.

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with air brake endorsement.
• Experience operating roll‑off or front‑load trucks in tight urban environments.
• Pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening, DOT physical, and criminal background check.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA, DOT, and local, state, and federal laws.
• Technical proficiency: ability to learn and use company technology (route‑management apps, electronic logs, internal communication tools).
• Early‑riser: start shifts by 5 am (or 3 am when possible) and have Saturday availability as needed.
• Personal characteristics: responsible, strong communicator, adaptable, detail‑oriented, spatially aware, and problem‑solving skills.
