Job summary

HD Supply in Auburn, MA, is seeking a delivery driver to make customer deliveries using company-provided or rental vehicles. You will maintain delivery records, inspect and service delivery vehicles, and provide customer service on order issues.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Clean MVR and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites.
• Provides exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure accuracy.
• Pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintains routine contact with distribution center for delivery updates and interruptions.
• Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records.
• Contacts customers to provide updates on delivery statuses.
• Provides feedback to management on escalated issues.
