Job summary

BestDrive, a subsidiary of Continental, is seeking a driver to operate a box truck or trailer to move product and manage efficient routes. You will collect instructions, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain logs while complying with DOT and BestDrive standards.

This role requires independent work, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle outdoor weather conditions. Benefits include PTO and corporate discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to pass DOT medical certification.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work in extreme outside weather conditions.
• Must have and maintain good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck or trailer to move product.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources.
• Manage routes and routines for maximum efficiency.
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel.
• Daily inspection of vehicles for safety and operation.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Keep company trucks fueled and clean.
• Comply with DOT and BestDrive regulations and rules.
• Serve as a BestDrive advocate in client interactions.
