Job summary

BestDrive, a Continental subsidiary, is seeking an on-site truck driver to operate a box truck or trailer and move product. You will collect delivery instructions, manage efficient routes, and conserve fuel while maintaining vehicle logs and clean trucks.

Daily duties include safety inspections, compliance with DOT and BestDrive rules, and serving as a BestDrive advocate in client and public interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent preferred.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Able to pass DOT medical certification.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work in extreme outside weather conditions.
• Must have and maintain good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck or trailer to move product.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources.
• Manage routes and routines for efficiency.
• Conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicles for safety and maintenance.
• Maintain logs of hours and maintenance records.
• Keep company trucks fueled and clean.
• Comply with DOT and BestDrive regulations and rules.
• Serve as a BestDrive advocate in interactions with clients and the public.
