Job summary

Balkan Beverage LLC in the United States is seeking a delivery driver for a Tuesday–Friday schedule beginning at 5:00 AM for four 10‑hour shifts. You will deliver products safely and professionally, handle invoicing and payments as needed, and keep your vehicle clean and well maintained.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, strong communication, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced setting. EOE.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to customers safely and professionally.
• Operate and maintain the delivery vehicle before and after use.
• Inspect vehicle condition, log inspections and report issues.
• Invoice and collect payments from customers as instructed.
• Manage customer relationships and meet or exceed expectations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 250 lbs as needed.
• Work with Salesmen and Merchandisers to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.

Summary:SCHEDULE: TUESDAY-FRIDAY STARTING AT 5:00 AM (FOUR 10 HOUR SHIFTS)In addition to regualr pay, Drivers are also eligible for annual safety incentives!Deliver product to our customers in a safe, professional, and courteous manner; including invoicing and picking up payments from customers as instructed.Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):Operate a vehicle and deliver assigned orders.Maintain vehicle.Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging inspection; reporting requirementsMaintains safe vehicle and conditions and protects load by complying with organization policies, procedures, highway rules and regulations.Maintains appearance of delivery truck by daily cleaning of the inside of the truck.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Manage the Customer RelationshipIf Applicable, collect payment from customers and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoice.Properly invoice, collecting appropriate signature, and proper documentation of all deliveries.Performs duties in a safe manner by following established safety rules and regulations.Work, when assigned, with Salesmen and Merchandisers to meet or exceed customer expectations.Properly deliver order, putting product away to company standardsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.Responsibly handle products.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.Qualifications:Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalentLanguage Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.Ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.Must have a valid driver’s license with a good record and access to a reliable vehicle.Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area preferred.Demonstrate good communication skills with high levels of professionalism.Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, to stand; walk; use shoulder to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must be cleared to lift 50 lbs. and/or move up to 250 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, and color vision.Able to use a handcart and pallet jackWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, common internal combustion fumes consistent with normal traffic situations, ambient and refrigerated warehouse air, airborne particles consistent with normal ambient and outdoor conditions.
