Job summary

Cardinal Health in Washington is seeking a Delivery Associate for Pharmacy Services & Delivery. You will be responsible for prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology medications to medical care providers, and you will prepare doses for shipment and load/unload containers per safety standards and DOT guidelines.

The role uses a handheld tablet to scan orders, requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and demands weekend/holiday/on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus.
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions and working on weekends/holidays/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Delivers radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to customer accounts on the assigned route (non-CDL).
• Packages medications for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Shift/Schedule 40 Hours per week Monday and Tuesday 6:30am-3:00pm (often varies to cover PTO) Fridays 5:30am to 2:00pm Saturday 3:00am-9:00am Sunday 3:00am-10:30am Includes rotational holidays and on-call Must be flexible for on-call and Holiday rotation

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends/holidays/on-call as part of a rotation
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Ability to become licensed in the state of Washington as a pharmacy assistant. (All training and fees provided)
