Cardinal Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services & Delivery driver to support prompt delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. The role involves loading/unloading, scanning orders with a handheld tablet, and ensuring safety and proper handling according to DOT requirements.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm with overtime as needed; benefits start day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and valid driver's license.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions, day or night.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and be mobile for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or rotating shifts.
• Basic proficiency in English reading and writing for documents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle.
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route info, and navigation.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Respond to customer needs and ensure safety and compliance with DOT requirements.

Shift/Schedule

40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. Weekends and holidays as needed. Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, days, schedules and mandatory overtime as needed. What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health: Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl). Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers. Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation. Processes packages returned from customer locations. Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs. Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle. Must hold a valid driver's license. Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours. Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time. Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation. Comfortable working in a nuclear environment. Ability to use computers and tablets. Strong customer service and communication skills. Prior delivery driving experience a plus. High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred. Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents. May require vendor credentialing.

Pay Rate
