Cardinal Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Services & Delivery driver in Rhode Island for overnight weekend routes. You will deliver radiopharmaceuticals to medical providers, prepare doses for shipment, and load/unload containers while complying with safety standards.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and comfort working in a nuclear environment. Position uses a handheld tablet for orders and navigation, with weekend/overtime shifts as needed and a pay

• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

12 hours per week Saturday and Sunday 2:00 am - 8:00 am Rotating holidays, typically 2 per year Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts., days, schedules and mandatory overtime as needed.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route.

Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $19.50 per hour
