Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Services & Delivery associate to ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route. You will prepare doses for shipment, load/unload containers, and use a handheld tablet for orders and navigation.

The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, a valid driver's license, and good customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Willing to work weekends, on call, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Basic reading/writing in English for documents.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts on an assigned route using a company vehicle.
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information, and navigation.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Handle package returns and assist with general facility cleaning.

Now offering a $500 new hire sign on bonus! Shift/Schedule 21 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9AM to 4PM On call once per week (Thursdays) Holidays on rotational basis Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs. What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $17 per hour
