Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a delivery-focused role to distribute radiopharmaceuticals and oncology meds to medical care providers. You will load, scan orders with a tablet, and ensure safe, timely deliveries on an assigned route.

Expect 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm, with weekend shifts every six weeks and on-call rotations. Benefits start day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401k and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call, holidays, and weekends as part of a rotation
• Ability to use computers and tablets

Responsibilities

• Delivers radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts on assigned route
• Packages radiopharmaceuticals for shipment and loads containers
• Uses handheld tablet to scan orders and obtain route information
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

• 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
• Weekend shifts every 6 weeks (Saturday or Sunday 2:00am-10:00am) and on-call rotation every 6 weeks (Weekend on-call Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
