Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Services & Delivery associate to support the prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical care providers. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, valid driver's license, and comfort driving in all conditions.

You will deliver to customer accounts on an assigned route, scan orders with a handheld tablet, and ensure accurate loading/unloading of containers.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills required to interact with customers and coordinate deliveries.
• Ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Experience with handheld tablets and basic IT literacy for scanning orders and navigation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology meds to customer accounts on assigned routes using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package medications for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information, and navigation.
• Process returned packages and maintain vehicle and facilities.
• Perform minor roadside repairs and general cleaning as required.

Job description

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes To Cardinal Health Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

• Part-Time - approx.. 20 hours every other weekend
• Saturday and Sunday 1:15 am - 11:15 am (every other weekend)
• Holidays rotations (every other holiday)
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver\'s license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $16.75 per hour
