Job summary

Cardinal Health in Rochester, NY is seeking a delivery associate for a short-term assignment. You will prepare and deliver radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts on an assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL) and handle package shipments and returns with a handheld tablet for order verification.

The role requires driving in all weather, ability to lift 75 lbs, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

Shift/Schedule: This is a short-term assignment. It can be up to 3 months in length based on business need. 40 hours Monday through Friday 2:30 am - 10:30 am. Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, days, schedules and mandatory overtime as needed. This position is benefit eligible the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $20.50 per hour
