Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver for a short-term assignment in Rochester, NY. The role involves radiopharmaceutical/oncology medication deliveries on an assigned route, with a 40-hour schedule, primarily Monday–Friday from 2:30 am to 10:30 am.

The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, benefits from day one, and requires handling packages, operating a handheld tablet for orders, and maintaining vehicle readiness. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older with valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions, day or night.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and be mobile for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime or rotating shifts.
• Work in a nuclear environment and use computers/tablets.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers on the assigned route.
• Package medications for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Scan orders with a handheld tablet to confirm accuracy and route stops.
• Process returned packages from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

• 40 hours Monday through Friday 2:30 am – 10:30 am
• Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts., days, schedules and mandatory overtime as needed.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weightup to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
