Job summary

Tomlinson’s Feed is seeking Delivery Associates to join our locally owned team in Central Texas. Earn a starting hourly rate of $15 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, with average earnings between $20 and $25 per hour when including mileage.

This W2 role offers health insurance, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with employer match for drivers working full-time. Typical duties include loading, delivering items, checking orders, assisting customers, and following planned routes.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a clean driving record.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery and up-to-date car registration.
• Smartphone with delivery app access.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to guests or businesses in a timely manner.
• Review orders before delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Load and unload items safely to prevent damage during delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and address guest questions or complaints.
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Coordinate with dispatch to resolve issues like wrong addresses or gate codes.
• Assist in training new drivers and learning delivery procedures.
• Complete training to stay updated on promos, products, and procedures.
• Assist in-store between delivery runs.
