Job summary

Hajoca is seeking a non-CDL Delivery Driver to operate trucks safely and deliver merchandise to various locations, including job sites and customer facilities. The role includes loading and unloading cargo, ensuring secure loads, collecting payments for cash deliveries, and coordinating with customers to resolve any discrepancies.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, able to work independently, and proficient in English.

Qualifications

Must be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
Be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Pass a Department of Transportation physical exam before start and every two years thereafter.
Have a driving record meeting Company policy criteria for Authorized Driver.
Understand shipping documents and have accurate delivery directions.
Complete safety and compliance training programs as assigned.

Responsibilities

Load truck with Hajoca merchandise at the Profit Center and secure the load.
Deliver to job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Hajoca locations as directed.
Unload merchandise and obtain legible signatures per policy.
Collect payments for cash sale deliveries prior to release of merchandise.
Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers at delivery sites.
Perform receiving, shipping, and other warehouse duties as directed.
