Position Overview

Delivery drivers are responsible for safely operating STI vehicles while delivering products and equipment to our customers.

What You’ll Do

1. Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision
2. Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site
3. Load and unload products and equipment for delivery
4. Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
5. Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management
6. Assist with warehouse duties, stocking inventory in the warehouse and in the showroom, maintaining the yard while not driving
7. Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI
8. Work with our field sales team and other internal associates to enhance customer satisfaction and to facilitate a team atmosphere

Skills We Are Seeking

1. Minimum of 2 years of non-commercial driving
2. Experience in driving a non-commercial truck/trailer combo is preferred but not required
3. A proven aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experiences
4. A keenness to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies and methodologies
5. Capable of routinely handling items weighing up to 75 pounds
6. Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards for non-commercial drivers (background, MVR, drug testing, insurance standards)
7. High school diploma or its equivalent is required
