Hughes Supply is looking for a Delivery Driver- non CDL at their Bradenton, FL location.

Pay for Delivery Driver- non CDL is between $18 and $22 per hour.

About the Role:

You will:

1. Operate trucks safely and in compliance with Company rules, applicable laws, and regulations.
2. Load the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise to be delivered, securing the load properly.
3. Understand the shipping documents associated with the merchandise for each delivery.
4. Review shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy.
5. Unload correct merchandise and obtain legible signature for all deliveries.
6. Collect and secure outstanding payments for all cash sale deliveries.
7. Work with customers at the delivery site to resolve shipping discrepancies.
8. Inspect the truck and required parts and accessories for safe operating condition.
9. Advise management of any mechanical problems with the truck.
10. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs.
11. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

About You:

Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you must:

1. Be at least 21 years old.
2. Possess a proper and valid driver’s license.
3. Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver.
4. Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.

7. Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
