Hughes Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for a Delivery Driver- non CDL at their Bradenton, FL location.

Pay for Delivery Driver- non CDL is between $18 and $22 per hour at this location.

About the Role:

You will:

1. Operate trucks safely and in compliance with Company rules, applicable laws, and regulations.
2. Load the truck with Hajoca merchandise to be delivered, ensuring the load is secured properly.
3. Understand the shipping documents associated with each delivery.
4. Review shipping documentation for order accuracy.
5. Unload merchandise and obtain signatures as required.
6. Collect payments for cash sale deliveries.
7. Work with customers to resolve shipping discrepancies.
8. Load the truck at other locations with merchandise.
9. Provide sales leads based on customer interactions.
10. Inspect the truck for safe operating conditions.
11. Complete the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report as needed.
12. Complete required safety and compliance training programs.
13. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

About You:

1. Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. You must:
1. Be at least 21 years old.
2. Possess a valid driver’s license.
3. Have a driving record that meets company criteria.
4. Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
