Job summary

Lumber Mart, Inc. in East Grand Forks, MN is seeking a Non-CDL Truck Driver to transport lumber and building materials to customers and our distribution center. You will operate light to medium trucks and help with loading and unloading, while prioritizing safety and high-quality service.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts. Compensation ranges from $19-$25 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Previous truck driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to overtime and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate light to medium-duty trucks to deliver lumber and materials to customers and our distribution center.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments and ensure proper load securement.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
• Maintain delivery records including mileage, fuel, and issues.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers about schedules and special instructions.
• Assist with inventory organization and yard duties as needed.
