Job summary

84 Lumber, a family-owned building materials supplier, seeks a full-time Truck Driver to deliver materials to customer job sites, operate a forklift, and maintain the lumber yard and warehouse. A valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Candidates must be 21+, read English, meet FMCSA standards, and pass road tests; high school diploma or GED preferred. 84 Lumber offers PTO, medical/dental/vision, holiday pay, FSA, 401(k) with employer match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to communicate.
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide a copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) annually.
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
• Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
• Complete or have completed a driver’s road test and hold a valid certificate.
• May be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license depending on truck/hauler.
• May be required to have Medical Exam certificate.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customer job sites.
• Operate forklift and maintain yard/warehouse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
