Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Delivery Driver for routes around Houston, TX. Join a nationwide network of branches and contribute to timely, safe deliveries while upholding a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading a 20-24’ box truck, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and adhering to DOT regulations. The role may include occasional overnight travel and branch warehouse support.

Qualifications

• Experience in loading/unloading and delivering goods.
• Ability to learn and follow DOT rules and safety inspections.
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy items with pallet jack or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
• Deliver to customers safely with strong service.
• Follow DOT rules and complete daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Support branch warehouse as needed.
• Occasional overnight route about every 8 weeks.

Founded in 1942, Jasper Engines and Transmissions is a stable company with a track record of success.Click here to learn more about JASPER: https://youtu.be/0dK_Yv2KmkEJob OverviewDuties Include:Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.Following DOT rules and regulations.Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.Assisting with branch warehouse support.The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.Schedule:4 days per week.10-hour shifts and hours may vary.No weekends.This branch does require an overnight route, as needed. One every 8 weeks or so.Qualifications:Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
