Job summary

Reliable Staffing is seeking a delivery driver/warehouse associate in training for a temporary-to-hire role in Indianapolis, IN. The trainee will learn to operate delivery vehicles, manage routes, and handle cargo under supervision, while also assisting in warehouse packing when deliveries aren’t available.

Core duties include ride-along training, vehicle inspections, loading/unloading cargo, and documenting delivery logs.

Qualifications

• Valid state or CDL license preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs and sit or drive for long periods.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation to the job site beyond public transit schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ride-Along Training: Learn route navigation, customer service, and delivery procedures.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety checks per DOT rules.
• Loading and Unloading: Secure cargo and unload at customer locations using proper equipment.
• Documentation: Complete delivery logs and report vehicle maintenance issues or damaged goods.
