Job summary

Primary Staffing Inc. seeks a dependable Driver Assistant to support delivery operations. This role involves assisting drivers, loading trucks, and ensuring accurate, timely tortilla deliveries to restaurants and stores while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include organizing items, handling paperwork, and maintaining a clean vehicle. Must be capable of lifting 25–50 lbs and wearing steel-toe boots. Shifts are long, with overtime possibly required.

Qualifications

• Deliver tortillas to restaurants, stores, and other customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Handle invoices, receipts, and other paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle during and after each route.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns.
• Assist with mapping and navigating delivery routes.
• Follow safety protocols during handling and delivery.
• Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking items.
• Support drivers in handling on-the-road issues or schedule changes.

Additional Requirements for Indianapolis Location:

• Shifts are 10 to 12 hours long.
• Must be available to travel outside the state and stay overnight depending on route needs.
• Days off are on Tuesdays.

General Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and standing throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions.
• Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, or customer service is a plus.
• Steel toe boots required.
