Job summary

Platt Electric Supply in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Branch Driver to deliver products to customers, the branch, and suppliers in a delivery van (No CDL required). The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate loading, and meeting customer deadlines.

You will inspect the vehicle daily, follow DOT regulations, complete delivery paperwork, and assist with other branch duties as needed. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a driving/delivery role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Must obtain verification of non‑expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had driver's license suspensions in past 3 years.
• Must not have any at-fault accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep the vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload material and verify order accuracy and absence of damage.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery and ensure proper documentation.
• Collect delivery receipts, packing lists, and branch/warehouse manifests.
