Job summary

Platt in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Truck Driver II to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for delivering products to/from customers, branch locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). You will ensure orders are accurate and properly documented.

The role emphasizes safe driving, daily vehicle inspections, and adherence to DOT and state laws. A valid license, two years of experience, and ability to pass pre-employment checks are required; no CDL is

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had their driver's license suspended for traffic accidents/violations within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers, branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck.
• Inspect vehicle daily and maintain paperwork including delivery receipts and manifests.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload materials, verify quantities/types and ensure damage-free delivery.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery and other branch duties as needed.
• All duties performed with safety and customer service in mind.
