Job Description: Delivery Driver at Sherwin-Williams

This position involves delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. The driver ensures that deliveries are complete, correctly packed, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Accountability includes customer satisfaction and the safe, timely transportation of items.

Contact with customers may include minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items is involved. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. To protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of all stakeholders, a review of criminal history will be conducted.

The selected individual will work at Store #7170, located at 3224 S Wadsworth Blvd Unit F, Lakewood, CO 80227.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from an FMCSA-licensed medical examiner or willing to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver
• Experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
