Job description

This position is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed examiner or willingness to obtain one within five days
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of delivery driving experience
• Experience with material handling equipment
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Multilingual abilities, including Spanish
