Job summary

Johnstone Supply in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of HVACR parts to customers and store locations. You will operate box trucks, verify orders, and maintain vehicle and load integrity.

The role requires a valid CDL preferred, a clean driving record, and ability to read maps and use POD devices. Strong customer service and safety focus are essential; on-site work with warehouse support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years driving a 26 ft vehicle or larger, or experience with Johnstone equipment/vehicles.
• Preferred: 6+ months in warehouse/distribution, HVAC/R or related field.
• Experience with a picker, RF scanner, and inventory systems.
• CDL preferred; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and on time to customers and store locations.
• Verify deliveries against sales/transfer orders and complete POD.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Record sales and delivery information; complete required paperwork.
• Communicate delivery issues, safety concerns, and route changes to supervisor.
• Assist with on-site warehouse duties when not driving.
