HIRING IMMEDIATELY for routes in Maumelle & North Little Rock

All route deliveries can begin within 20-25 minutes of the terminal!

We are looking for highly energetic individuals who enjoy being active.

Experience driving box trucks or stepvans is a plus.

CDL A license is a plus but not required.

ETCH Transport Company in Central AR partners with FedEx Ground to deliver packages efficiently to business and residential customers. Due to industry growth, we have an immediate need for multiple energetic Delivery Drivers. This position is safety-sensitive due to operating commercial vehicles on public roads, in accordance with FMCSA and Arkansas law. A background check and DOT drug testing are required.

Because of the physical demands of the job, successful drivers are energetic and have good stamina. Adherence to routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws is essential. Flexibility and adaptability to last-minute schedule and route changes are also important.

Primary duties include:

1. Safely operating, maintaining, and repairing commercial vehicles (22-foot step vans or 16-26-foot box trucks), including fueling, inspections, and maintenance, in compliance with FMCSA, state, and federal laws.
2. Loading, transporting, and accurately delivering packages safely and on time, following routes and delivery windows.
3. Using tools such as iPad for navigation and routing, and scanners for package tracking.
4. Inspecting and organizing orders before departure, and handling packages weighing up to a specified limit.
5. Communicating with management and updating delivery schedules as needed.

Job Requirements:

1. Must be 21 or older, possess a valid driver’s license, a clean background check, and pass a DOT drug test (pre-hire and random).
2. Must have or obtain a valid DOT medical examiner's card before operating a vehicle.
3. At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred; prior package delivery experience is a plus.
4. Must pass ETCH Transport’s driving test.
5. Strong organizational, customer service, and teamwork skills are necessary.
6. Availability to work at least 8:00 AM daily, including weekends, as schedules vary.
7. Familiarity with Little Rock, AR, and surrounding areas is preferred.

Full-time employees are eligible for a benefits package after a 60-day waiting period, including healthcare, dental, and vision options at a shared cost. Coverage begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
