Job summary

D & D Delivery Inc. is hiring FedEx Ground delivery drivers in Durham, NC. You will operate a company-provided box truck to deliver packages to homes and businesses in the local area.

Pay ranges from $150 to $200 per day, with a two-week paid training period at $125 per day and weekly pay on Fridays. A weekend rotation is included and there is potential for a performance bonus up to $500. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 150 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs, with frequent bending and maneuvering in and out of the delivery truck.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Customer-oriented approach and good communication skills.
• Military and Veteran applicants encouraged to apply.
• No CDL required and on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to homes and businesses in the local service area using a company-provided box truck.
• Load and unload packages; assist with route completion.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with safety regulations.
• Routes average 25 miles per day and take about 8 hours, depending on route completion.
• Occasional weekend rotations with a flexible schedule.
