Job summary

Boots To Trucks, a Durham, NC-based team, is hiring FedEx Delivery drivers for local residential and business deliveries. CDL not required. You’ll handle up to 150 stops daily, operate a delivery vehicle safely, load shipments, and provide excellent customer service.

Regular full-time and part-time positions available. Training provided; benefits include health insurance, paid personal time, and paid holidays. Must be 21+, with a valid license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with random screenings throughout employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
• Have reliable transportation to work and be on time.
• Able to climb stairs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely at all times while delivering and picking up packages.
• Deliver to businesses and residences; up to ~150 stops per day.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and load daily shipments.
• Maintain accurate communication with manager and customers.
• Use scanner to track deliveries and ensure proper disposition of items.
• Deliver the full route in a timely manner.
