The position emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, accurate paperwork, and professional customer interactions while supporting local food distribution operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months experience with delivery or route-based work.
• Non-Commercial Driver's License required.
• Meet the medical requirements of the DOT.
• Pass a background and drug screen.
• Clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Drive a straight truck or van on local and interstate routes to deliver and unload products.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks per DOT and company policy.
• Check and document paperwork, invoices, and signatures for deliveries.
• Load/unload items, manage returns, and ensure proper storage at customer sites.
• Maintain records of hours of service and comply with regulations.
