Performance Food Group is seeking a route delivery driver to support its foodservice distribution network. The role requires delivering and unloading food products to customers in a safe, timely manner and representing the company with professionalism.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with early start times; benefits include health and wellness plans from day one, retirement options, paid time off and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Formación

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 60–90 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes; delivers and unloads products.
• Performs safety checks per DOT regulations; inspects equipment and reports issues.
• Reports safety hazards and ensures freight is secure and properly loaded.
• Completes required paperwork and validates customer invoices.
• Delivers orders on schedule and secures signatures; handles cash or checks where required.
• Performs daily hours-of-service records and maintains clean trailers.
