Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products. You will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations and ensuring timely deliveries.

This role starts early with a 4:00am–6:00am dispatch and runs Monday through Friday. You will interact with customers, perform safety checks, and maintain required paperwork while earning competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years old and meet state licensing rules.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass drug test and background check.
• Pass road test and maintain DOT health card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to meet safety standards.
• Deliver and unload foods to customers on schedule.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Drive routes and secure all equipment and freight.
• Maintain logs per Federal DOT and company rules.
