Tindell's, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our East Tennessee team in Cleveland. You will transport wood trusses and beams to job sites, handle material loading, and provide on-site customer service with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Driving experience with trucks preferred.
• Valid driver's license with required endorsements; pass DOT physical.
• Ability to perform hands-on loading/unloading and operate basic material-handling equipment.
• Strong teamwork and customer-focused work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Drive semi-trucks with trailers to on-site deliveries.
• Safely navigate oversize loads per DOT guidelines and escort requirements.
• Unload materials and assist with on-site delivery and customer service.
• Inspect and maintain rig; assist yard teams with loading/unloading and inventory.
• Relay customer feedback and job updates to the material team.

Delivery Driver

Pay: $18.00 / hour

What You'll Do

• Precision Hauling: Drive semi-trucks equipped with roll-off stretch trailers (stretching up to 70') or rollback straight trucks to deliver wood trusses and beams directly to job sites.
• Oversized Load Operations: Safely navigate over-width and over-length loads in compliance with all DOT guidelines and escort requirements.
• Hands-On Delivery & Service: Operate forklifts, dollies, and manual equipment to unload building materials-ranging from structural trusses to finish trim-while delivering top-tier customer service on site.
• Yard & Fleet Support: Inspect and maintain your rig, assist yard teams with loading/unloading vehicles, build delivery loads, and handle returned inventory between runs.
• Communication Link: Serve as a direct point of contact on site, relaying customer feedback and job updates back to the material management team.

What We're Looking For

• Driving Experience: At least 6 months of truck driving experience (lumber hauling and oversized load experience preferred).
• Licensing & Compliance: Valid driver's license with a minimum F-Endorsement; ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Physical Readiness: Comfort with hands-on, physical work including manual loading and unloading of heavy materials.
• Mindset: Strong team player with a sense of urgency and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
