Job summary

SouthernCarlson in Woodridge, IL seeks a Delivery Driver to be on the road daily, interacting with customers and supporting warehouse operations. This full-time position offers a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, with compensation based on experience.

The role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and strong communication skills to provide excellent service at each delivery location. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly; forklift experience preferred (training available).

• Safely operate a flatbed truck.
• Deliver tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery location.
• Assist with warehouse duties including picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading.
• Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Job Description
