Job summary

SouthernCarlson is seeking a Delivery Driver who enjoys being on the road, interacting with customers, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This full-time role is based in Woodridge, IL with daytime hours Monday–Friday and no weekends, offering consistent, daytime schedule and growth opportunities.

You will safely operate a flatbed truck, deliver tools and materials to various sites, assist with warehouse tasks, and uphold our safety standards while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Med Card.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of delivery experience preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings.
• Forklift experience preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed truck.
• Deliver tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery location.
• Assist with warehouse duties including picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading.
• Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
