Job summary

SouthernCarlson is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team in the Fredericksburg area. This full-time role focuses on on-time deliveries, customer interaction, and supporting warehouse operations.

You will safely operate a box truck, load and unload, and provide professional service at each delivery location while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Forklift experience preferred (training available).
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of delivery experience preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck.
• Deliver tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery location.
• Assist with warehouse duties including picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading.
• Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly.
